Second hand info:  
Someone I know also told me there were usage
limitations w/ antique plates similar to those with
classic insurance in Illinois. You can only use the
car for club outings, shows, Sunday drives, and
to/from repair shop.  I don't know this to be fact, as
I've got standard plates on my vehicles. Anyone? Bob
