Nahhh you won't Pay dearly.... it's your free right to exercise your mind
in anyway you chose..... The goal here is to allow others to do the same
without calling them less then socially acceptable....
I love the sound of a Small Block Chevrolet making serious Hp.... but at
the same time... the sound of a 1275 bouncing off the walls in a tunnel
gets me in the exact same place.... ( or my Hundred sitting there at Idle )
now to tell you bout the crazy thing we used to do.... I started out
sweeping floors in an Indian Motorcycle restoration facility.... but my
Boss was kinda strange and willing to try anything once.... this old fart
stuffed a Honda 750/4 in a Harley Electra Glide.... he thought the Harley
had the best ride and the Honda the best motor ....( in 1972 ) damn
scooter was actually Pretty nice to ride
Yeah we even stuffed an early Indian four cylinder in a Triumph once
Motor swaps aren't new to me.... but to put a Small Block in my restored
hundred would be as bad as cutting up a Jag or anything nice....Once the
car is used up.... well the car is used up... and if you can gain many more
years of useful service by installing a better (read newer more reliable)
drive train and you like it when it's done... it sure wouldn't be an
investment but it might make for a good time.... what the hell.... it's all
about fun isn't it?
