In an almost related story, in Ottawa last week, a vintage British ( they
called it a tank, but I believe that it was an ... ) armored car took a
slight detour past Parliament Hill where the RCMP pounced on it and
confiscated the machine gun. :)
It had been disabled, but they couldn't figure that out.
Coincidently, I saw the vehicle just before I heard the story.
Perhaps it was on the way home that it passed the Hill.
