Because the car had a new head put on it and any particles of metal from
the break-in of the new head got to do a real nice number on the bearings.
I should have photographed what came out of the sump. I've asked other
professional mechanics to confirm for me that this was a very bad thing to
do and they all agreed it was. Many were shocked that the company would not
make good on the damage they did.
