This was a major topic some time ago on the Triumph list and the final concensus was that the fan worked better on either the fron or back of the radiator, ..old fa*t memory thinks it needed to be on the backside, so it didn't block air from entering the radiator and pulled it through like the mechanical fan. Of course, Dan Masters, electrical genious, also pointed out that the additional pull on the generator should make up for any HP gain in losing the fan and clutch. YMMV Robert Houston |
