Hi, Sfooshee!
The electrical switch part of the brake fail warning assembly (assuming
that it's the same as the "brake differential pressure switch") is not
designed to be leak proof. If the mechanical part of the assembly is not
leaking internally, then the switch should never see any brake fluid.
Fluid leaking out of the switch indicates that the rubber o-rings on the
shuttle valve inside the assembly are leaking and need to be replaced. The
o-rings are only about 1/4 - inch in diameter, and you may be able to find
replacements locally, although you would need something that is resistant
to brake fluid.

After a new switch I bought leaked immediately, I finally figured all this
out. By that time, I had had enough of trying to get all five brake pipes
back into the assembly and wasn't going to remove it again. So, I just
found a bolt that would screw into the switch hole and stop the leaking. I
figure I will know if my brakes fail without having to depend on the
warning light, at least until I remove the assembly again.
