Chris, When I said that the comp test measure were taken "wet" I meant with oil added to the cylinders. I was trying to eliminate cylinder wear, so I gues the lower comp. on #3 is due to the valve? What I wasn't sure of was if this difference would explain the noise and would indicate a burnt valve, or simply one not seating quite as well as it should. Guy |
