rough idle

Hi Guys,
My Bugeye here lately has been idling kind of rough ( and wants to cut
out-and does sometimes) after it's hot. It doesn't do it when the engine  is
cold and sounds great at anything above idle when hot. Since this can be a
good many things, any ideas what the most likely cause is? Thanks, Carol '59
