I forgot to suggest when I sent the info, if you can find one, get a 12G295 head. If the head on your 948 sprite is anything like the one I have for a 948 morris minor then it suffers from a sad case of valve shrouding. Sticking a 998 cooper head (12G295) on will get you a big gain in power for very little effort. But coz of the larger combustion chamber volume you'll need to shave a few thou off the head/block to regain your compression ratio. Andy |
