If anyone is interested, there is a nice little article on the Mini, old and new, in April, 99's Automotive Industries trade journal magazine. Amazingly, they even put it on the website: http://www.ai-online.com/articles/0499history.htm BTW, this is a good gearhead magazine with insight to the industry as a whole, and you may want to order a free subscription, which they frequently offer.
