Sprite vs. MGB

I have a buddy who is working on a total restoration of a '67 MGB.  I just got
to thinking.  I have a '67 Sprite.  It's got a 3 into 1 header, foam air
cleaners, a 3.9 rear end, mostly stock 1275cc.  His MBG is completely stock.
I was just wondering if the list thinks that he'll stay out in front of me.
You know I would want him to beat me or anything.  So, do I need to go with a
weber and hotter cam?  (Just a little competition here)
