If you are going to keep it "customized" why go with Smiths guages and stock
seats?  You might as well make it fun.  Make an engine turned dash and buy
some aftermarket guages from a racing supplier.  Go with nice custom seats
that offer some support.  Check out:
http://www.performancemarket.com/contents.htm  for a list of suppliers for all
things fast.  (Stay away from blue headlights though.)

Sounds like fun to me.
