I did a spreadsheet program one night after reading the Autoweek
tests of several cars. It calculated the maximum "ideal" speed according
to your revs, diff ratio, wheel size, and tire size. At 5800 rpm, 4.22
final drive ratio, 13" wheels, running 165/70 tires I came up with 94+
mph. That should be plenty fast in a Bugeye. :o) Speed changes as tire
sizes change.
