Next to micrometers, the book is my favorite LBC luxury!

Interesting point made last week with a friend in Atlanta... about tools...
I own a fine set of Mic's and calipers .. while at his house he whipped out
the plastic vernier caliper... and was a bit shy about the quality ... I
was complimenting him on owning it and saying I wish I had the cheapy
caliper... I am constantly using a $150 dollar caliper to measure the size
of drill bits and hoses and stuff... which of course the plastic $25 dollar
piece would be fine at...

I proved my point to him by showing him that he was binding the Valve
springs with his new high performance cam shaft in his MG TD and that was
why he was breaking rocker shafts...

just thought I would pass along my opinion on my favorite cheapy tool

more, more when rebuilding my 1275. I'm not home right now so I can't look
at it, but it is many hundreds of pages of info hardbound. What I really
like is that he shows dyno results for every claim he makes. Good gearhead
stuff.
