On the topic of replacing thermostats, does anyone have a method that works for getting the outlet pipe off? I haven't replaced the thermostat last antifreeze change (ok the last few) because the outlet pipe is firmly welded to the head. I've heard that replacements are hard to find, so I didn't stick a crowbar in the hole and pry it off, but hitting it with a hammer to loosen had no effect. Thanks.
