What's a 1500 Midget?

Hi...This may sound like a stupid question to all of you, but what's a 
1500 Midget?  Is this a special edition or does it just mean all the 
Midgets with a 1500 engine?  And what years were they made?  I look at 
the parts catalogs from Moss and a few of the parts are completely 
different for 1500's, than for the rest.  Thanks ahead of time for 
clearing this up for me.
