Dear Friends, I recently replaced the water pump on my '78 Midget 1500 with a stock unit from a donor vehicle. Now there is a really loud whirring from the engine compartment all the time which increases with RPM. I suspect that my stock fan clutch is not releasing properly. Is this assumption likely to be correct? Is there a simple way to correct this problem? Any help will be appreciated. Thank you. Dave Brown |
