Hi, I am not a fan of Silicone DOT 5 fluid and about all the info I have on it relates to one UK produce and it is a blow by blow critique from an expert on fluids whose comments can be summarised by - no major manufacturer uses it. DOT 5.1 is not a racing fluid but I am not sure that even racing Spridgets need it - I would imagine that unless you have carbon/carbon brakes even standard brakes size will live with DOT 5.1 Finally, sorry if you got an earlier answer to this - I was having trouble with my e-mail.
