Recoloring a fiberglass hardtop

I have a Snugtop hardtop for my car.  It is fiberglass with an outside
finish that is supposed to look like a vinyl top.  It is somewhat faded to
a light grey.  If I apply Armor All or similar, it looks nice and dark for
a while.  
Has anywone recolored one of these?
I am thinking of products to recolor black bumpers or something like that 
rather than paint.
