And another thing... I was on the receiving end of one of those "$13,000
invested, must sell $xxxx / OBO" cars, and boy was it great at first. This
time, I bought someone else's loss, and a real show piece! Well, if you've
ever done it yourself before, you begin tearing the car apart anyway
because you don't know if it's been done right. I had a good PO whom I
knew, and I still felt like the car hadn't necessarily been done right. I
have a perfectly good 948 with less than 9,000 miles on it that is about to
become a coffee table because of an oil drip and some blow by that is
probably present on a lot of cars, maybe even the engine I'm blue printing.
But at least I knew what was done, and with what level of care,
intelligence or stupidity.
