I haven't seen anyone make serious mods to the lower outer pin
assembly on a standard wishbone, but I have seen the two rear
pickups cut off and replaced with rose joints (heim joints?). This
also gives some camber adjustment!
Actually, now I do recall one club member did something - I'll see if I
can find out what...
Those who fabricate new wishbones don't rely on standard sprite
fulcrum pin arrangement.
The std fulcrum pin setup is OK as it is *as long as it is well maintained*.
Install with a copper-based never seize and keep well greased. Even
on heavily punished front suspension (like redcar's) this is good for
a couple of years.
