George,
How hot is it getting and does it completely overheat, like spewing
coolant. Has you gauge been calibrated? How tight is the belt on the
blower? Is the blower overheating first and then causing the engine
to heat up? Has the blower recently been rebuilt? Sometimes if the
end plate clearance is too small not only will you over heat the
blower housing but you will also gall the end plates.
Do you run an oil cooler?
Just some questions that come to mind.

Thanks for the info Bob.
WOrked on the blower most of today and the car still overheats when pt under
load. Replaed the jet n the Holly to a 76 which is substantially larger than
the 65 that was in it. Can't figure out what the problem is. Changed the
thermosate etc.
