Fred, Checked my Smiths books and RVI 2401/00A doesn't appear. The RVI 2401/00 is also known as BHA 4380 (BMC #) . This Tach is listed as being used in the Sprite MKII & III. Also in the MG Midgets MKI, II & III. Something isn't right with the A portion of your number as Smiths didn't use alphabetic nominclature to discern the various gauges.
