You can graft on an A+ timing chain tensioner. That is the only way.

Mind you, you shouldn't need to adjust it unless a) you had the block
line-bored b) it is worn out and needs replacement!

I grafted the tensioner on my 1380 because it needed a line bore and
the resultant slop (in the timing chain) would have resulted in too more
slop in the timing than I was happy with.
