Frank's alternator conversion

I'm going to the boneyard tomorrow to get a collection of parts to try and
shore up the '91 Tempo and while I'm there, I thought I'd see if they had
an alternator suitible for my Sprite.

In Frank's instructions on PDLJMPRS he lists a Mitsubishi from the late
'80s.  If I can't find one of these, is there a good second choice?
