The cotter pin in the lower fulcrum is very important. It is actually a taper
pin and it locks the lower fulcrum pin to the kingpin. If the pin is not locked
to the kingpin the pin will rotate inside the lower end of the kingpin and not
in the bearings. When you get new cotter pins check them before driving them
home as they have been known to be a little oversize.
Hope this helps

Yup,
I thought I'd ordered all the parts I'd need to get my front suspension
back together.
Naturally I forgot something. The little pin that locks the lower fulcrum
pin.
(here comes the question part)
Do I really need THAT part or can that item be substituted with a bolt of
suitable
length and width.
Thanks again and again !
