Doug... Oh, I know I am far from having the "longest continuously owned" car, but it was with an awful lot of satisfaction that on Tuesday I marked 37 years of owning my Frogeye. The funny thing was that I really wanted a Volvo 544, but none could be found in Memphis. So, on March 24, 1961, I settled for a Sprite with a 1000 miles on the clock, paying $1,000 for it at Bluff City Motors. Damn, was I lucky! Anaheim, California Frogeyes AN5L/762, AN5L/26893 |
