Reid... > One tiny correction: there was never an "R" indicating Right hand drive in > the car numbers. The "L" indicated Left hand drive, but on cars with right > hand drive, the space was blank. Ooops... Absolutely correct. We tend to forget that for the English, a left-hand drive car is so bizarre and unusual that it has to be identified as such! Bob |
