Blue Streak points for the Sprite

Crash,

Thirty six years ago the Blue Streaks spring steel that the floating point is
on would flatten out and short out the circuit after about 200 miles.  The
coil would not get a full charge but for all the world it sounded like a carb
problem.  I completely ruined the set up of my carbs and the first day of our
honeymoon over these points.  Some months later tried them once more and they
failed the same way.  Sure wish someone would try them again and see if they
have improved.
