Hi All

Any of you that installed the Datsun 5-Speed with a 1275 remember what the
installed height of the clutch/pressure plate was. That's the distance from
the rear engine plate to the bearing surface on the pressure plate. I would
also like to know the distance between the bearing and the front edge of the
bell housing on your installations. Brian Evans suggested that I look at
redrilling the 948 flywheel to take a 1275 pressure plate to try and solve
my clearance problems. I would really appreciate hearing from some of you
so that I can get an idea of the range of values. The installed height on
the 948 is 3 3/8 inches which is exactly the same distance as the bearing
from the front of the bell housing.

Thanks
