Actually to be totally precise, it can't be used without some considerable
effort.
To use a mini block, you have to do a bit of machining at the rear of the
engine.
This work will mean that you'll line-bore the main bearing seats/caps
amongst
other things. You'll also need a backing plate from a sprite (or fabricate
one)
and a crank from a sprite.
One of my buddies did this to use a A+ mini block in his sprite's race
motor.
He could have used the A+ inline block but he wanted the thick flange of the
mini
block...
