Thanks for all the replys to my Lucas problem. I simply replaced the fuse box with a 4 fuse unit and fed the tach separate from the brake lights. This did the trick. I can only guess that because the brake lights and ignition fed thru the same fuse (circuit) this was the problem. Again only guessing. I traced all juctions, switch, and lamps, no problems.
