Greg, Bob, Larry, Jeff, Jim, and anybody else who might be interested -

Here's the information from my brother:

The stuff is called Belzona Molecular Bonding. The company is based in
England, but sell worldwide. The kit he has cost $350 (yes, this is why
you only use it in small areas), and its strength is equivalent to cast
iron (if I ever crack a block, I'm going to try it), and is machineable.

They also make types based from rubber, copper, aluminum, and a ceramic
type that's hard as glass.

They have a couple of web pages. The international (& US) site is at
http://www.belzona.com/ and Belzona-Western (Canadian) is at
http://www.belzona-western-ltd.com/index.htm The page with their US
and UK addresses (to write for literature) is at
http://www.belzona.com/contact.html

Like I said, the stuff is expensive, so you don't want to use it often,
but it's great if you don't weld and need to repair a small area. The
kit my brother gets lasts him for years, because he doesn't use it that
much. BTW, he says he's had welds fail before this stuff does.

Don't assume that because you have found one problem, you have found the
ONLY problem.
