Hi All
I drove my 60 Sprite with 5 speed for the first time today. Any body want to buy
it!
rebuilt 1275, leaks oil as fast as you can pour it in....If I hook up the PCV,
it
burns yellow clouds of smoke so thick you can't see my yard.
Datsun 5 speed, drive shaft knocks on trans tunnel, too long a space between 2nd
and 3rd.
All new brakes which lock up all by themselves even without touching the brake
pedal!
Silicone fluid probable cause.
Recored radiator, only boils over at 160 degrees.
New fuel pump only needs an occasional tap with a hammer.
New Lucas ignition switch, car must still be hot wired to get ignition??
Fresh paint, yellow with black rally stripe, rust only starting in some places.
Rebuilt SUs that need replacing with a real carb or other SUs.
New exhaust but who can hear it over the drive shaft grind?
Some addition assembly required, all parts thrown in boot.
I would ask for serious inquires only but who in their right mind would want
this?
