the engine hasn't been started in well over three years, and is totally
disassembled on the garage floor spread out on newspaper! ;-) that and
the car consists of metal and a wiring harness and nothing else.
I am just trying to avoid spending another week waiting on the machine
shop to reverse the rods! Plus it was a pain in the arse getting the
pistons in because the rings kept popping out between the bottom of the
ring compressor and the block for some strange and inexplicable reason.
Actually, #'s 3&4 went in fine. 1 & 2 gave me trouble tho. oh well. I
guess I'll end up taking the block to the machine shop and let THEM deal
with it, that way I won't have to put them back in. Just as long as
they torque everything right...
