Mini manifold

After finding a mini manifold and then disecting the intake manifold
from the
exhaust manifold, I plan to run a single 1 3/4" SU on my 1275.
I've heard it provides the performance of a Weber and gas mileage
of the SU's. Kinda the best of both worlds.
Problem is that I'm having a nightmare of a time locating a
1 3/4" SU to play with. I know I can also try a 1 1/2" SU
but does anyone know which car may have had 1 3/4"
and even better have one?
