I guess it depends on what you are looking for. If it is rust-free, and
you need a rust-free car but welding is too expensive, then that is a
cheap alternative. I paid $400 for a body with less than that. It had
been totally stripped down to bare metal and reprimed. But 20 hours of
welding would have cost plenty more. And would not have been as solid.
It was worth the money to not have to worry about how soon the repairs
were going to start rusting again. And keep in mind a new fender can
cost $350 in VB!
