I have both editions, must have if you are into "improving" your
Spridget, especially suspension.

I have this one. Some things I liked (would have to look at it again to
remember what). Not first on the list.

This is THE one, I say. Anyone even remotely interested in originality
and the story of the Spridget will love this one. Great pictures too.
Haven't seen the last three.
I have one of those Brooklands (I think) with reprints of old road
tests. Very interesting to read what testers thought of our cars when
they were new. Turns out all the things I don't like, they complained
about back then!
Also, the top leaked when it was new, so I don't have to worry about
trying to eliminate the leaks. :-)
The prices listed are pretty impressive. At Barnes&Noble, the Horler
book is $39.95.
Other books that come to mind are the Bentley manual (expensive and I
still use the Haynes manual, for some reason) and Vizard's bible on
engine modifications "How to modify the BLMC A-series engine" (must
have when building a hi-perf engine).
