A few days ago I posted a GT6 Convertible project here that I'm trying to
sell. This post is for the second of the 2 GT6C projects that I can't
complete. So I'm offering this project for sale as well. This car is
mostly assembled, but will need work.
It came to me as an abandon project in 2004. While I looked it over then, I
haven't since. I got the engine running in 2004, but not since. I can't
tell you anything about the overall running condition of the car. The body
doesn't have any obvious rust holes. The passenger foot well is OK, I
haven't looked at the driver's side. The radiator is not stock, and needs
to be mounted to the frame. I have a bracket for the rear top shock mount.
The frame and running gear are from a '72 GT6. Tub is a '76, no title. GT6
doors. Soft top frame, but no top. Interior is rough, driver's seat is
split, no door panels, home cut carpet. The tires will hold the car up, but
are not drivable.
The car has a very amateur home re-spray in John Deere green! Lots of
sanding marks and primer all over the body. I have about 35 pictures from
2004, but nothing recent. I can email them if you're interested. The car
is buried in storage right now, so getting newer pictures will take a little
time. The project is in storage near Mankato, MN. I'm asking $500 for the
car.
