I hate to say this, but I think you've put a lot of effort into the
wrong fix.  As I mentioned before, and Jim Muller also explained, lean
of the car to one side or the other is almost entirely controlled by the
front suspension, particularly on swing-spring cars.  You can replace
that rear spring as often as you want, and it won't correct a
drivers-side lean.
