One brief tip: Don't be shy about cutting the replacement panel so that the junction between old and new is in an optimum location. If half of the old panel is perfectly good, there is not necessarily any reason to replace it. This may or may not apply to sills. I am happy that my sills are OK... I am currently working on replacing some rusted metal on a '31 Ford, which can be seen at www.dougbraun.com.
