Hello all,
Still trying to get a quote from some paint shops for my spitfire. So far
only one guy has given me a quote at $4000. A bit much i think. Granted
the car needs some work before the paint work, but not too much. It needs
to be sanded (which i will probably do before sending it), the posts where
the new rocker panels were welded in are kind of wavy and need some filler,
adn there are a couple spots of rust under where the headlights and turn
markers were that didn't get around to. I am not looking for an award
winning paint job here. Just outside, door jams, and underside of the
bonnet. Is $3000 too low of an expectation?
Here is a picture of it in its current state. Doesn't look like much...but
she runs, she drives and with a little bondo and some paint she will look
pretty too! :-)
Any thoughts?
