Can anyone help me?

I'm not very good with electrics!

If I leave my battery connected to the car overnight, in the morning it is
completely dead. I have just bought a new battery so that is fine. Under the
dash is the little round black Lucas component (I don't know what it is
called!) but presume its to do with the ignition? This is warm when the car
has been stood for a while so I guess this may be draining the battery? Can
anyone tell me where the wires should go on this or what else it could be?

Cheers
Jarrod
