Mike, GT6 calipers are essentially the same as those on the TR6 -- any of
several variations of the Type 16 caliper depending on year. Meanwhile,
Spitfires used smaller calipers: Type 12 on the Spitfire 4 and Mk2, and Type 14
on the Mk3 and later cars.
Spitfires also used smaller (9") rotors than those found on the GT6 (9.7"). TR6
rotors are yet bigger (11"? or something like that).
