Everybody -

If you can smell POR-15, you're being poisoned (POR-15
is close in chemical composition to cyanide). At a
minimum, you should be wearing a snug OSHA respirator
with black stripe cartridges, latex/nitrile gloves,
and eye protection.

POR-15 is great stuff, but treat if with respect.
Most dangerous is using it in footwells and trunks
where you have your head in fumes for an extended
period.  The effect is cumulative over your lifetime;
there's nothing you can do to undo any damage. A box
fan to keep the air moving away from you is a good
idea, too.

And while I'm on the safety soapbox, keep your
respirator in a sealed bag between uses. It absorbs
impurity from any air it's in contact with (not just
when it's on your face), and when it's "used up" it
just lets the bad gases pass through.
