Shame shame shame! You're not supposed to split the caliper, it's "against the rules". :-) Since it's brake fluid, I don't think it requires a special o-ring. So just find one that fits, soak it in brake fluid for a few days to make sure it doesn't do anything funny, and put it all back together. If it was my caliper, if I had any doubts or concerns about the seal of the joint, I'd coat it with Indian Head gasket shellac. |
