When you upgrade to a bigger wheel stud, how much larger diameter can be
pulled through the original hole.

I had one stud, for my Isuzu Trooper, that got in my box of new studs. I
noticed considerable resistance, but I pulled it halfway through a front hub
before I realized my mistake. The Spitfire hubs are very soft. The Isuzu stud
was much bigger, but it would have pulled through the hub, had I not stopped
halfway through.
