I have a couple of rear vertical links that have the threads chewed up, on the shock mount posts. I would like to experiment with them and drill the spring bolt holes an inch lower. Has anyone cut the threaded part off, then drilled and tapped for a stud, to hold the shock on? I never see rear vertical links for sale, unless they are in Great Britain or attached to an axle assembly. Machine shop costs might equal the other options, I haven't checked yet. Larry |
