I'm running TR7 wheels on both my Spitfires currently. The stamped steel TR7
wheels were a direct bolt on fit. The wheels already have the chamfered lug
holes. The alloy wheels are standard mag wheel design, with a flat lug nut and
washer. In that case, you will need to use a flat lug nut and washer when
mounting them on the Spitfire. You could order Spitfire sized lugnuts from
places like Vicky Brit, TRF and the like, or replace the wheel studs and use
nuts of whatever thread pitch you replace the studs with.

I think this got discussed a while back but I wasn't paying attention (sorry).
If you chamfer the holes on a TR7 wheel, can you safely use it on a
GT6/Spitfire? I need to replace the wheels and tires on my GT6 and the extra
inch would be nice.
thanks,
