Dave,

I would suggest that you contact Dan Masters.

I sold Dan a bunch of wire for LBC's.
He is actually making harness's for our LBC's.

The wire in the Spit's is cheap GPT 16 awg through 10 awg.
The battery cables are 4 awg.

You need SXL, GXL or TXL wire.
Out there on the web under Scions of Lucas is a little wire 101 I did years
ago.
Take a look at that.

The main problem your going to have with the wire is the striped stuff.
I sell it but there is a 500ft min per base color with a stripe.
Last count your looking at 10 striped wires and the rest are solid color.

Good luck

Subject: Wiring Harness

Well, Considering ALL of the wire that goes to the back end of my car is
completely destroyed, I have decided that i am going to run new wire
throughout the whole car. A big job i know, but i think it will pay off in
the end. That way i can make sure everything is connected where it needs to

be connected, good connectors, make my own color designations, etc.

What gauge wire should i use? What is stock for these cars? I am guessing
around 14 or 12? I can't imagine that it is too big.

Any advice or tips on this job would also be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
  Dave
